By now, you have heard that a major snow storm is heading to our area beginning at 4 p.m. today, Feb. 16, until 12 noon tomorrow, Feb. 17.
My staff and I are in Richmond today for the legislative session, but we are ready and available to assist you with any problems you might have with snow removal, power outage, or other emergencies.

If you need snow removal from public roads around you (those that are maintained by the state through Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), not by your private homeowners' association), please call 1-800-FOR-ROAD(800-367-7623). This number is answered 24/7 by a live person, and all calls will be logged and addressed appropriately.
Residents will be able to check the status of their neighborhoods at www.vdotplows.org
Residents can also e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with details on your location and the snow situation you need addressed.
