Delegate Mark Keam and Export-Import Bank to Host International Business Forum

VIENNA, VA — Delegate Mark L. Keam (D-Fairfax) and the Export-Import Bank of the United States will host the Global Access Forum for American small businesses looking to break into the Asian markets.
The free forum will be held on Friday, Oct. 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon at his office, located near Tysons Corner Center, at 1952 Gallows Rd., Vienna, VA 22182 in the 3rd floor conference room.
"The passage of the U.S. Korea Free Trade Agreement (KORUS FTA) a year ago signaled the Obama Administration's commitment to expanding business opportunities for American companies in the expanding Asian markets," said Keam. "Now we have got to give entrepreneurs and employees functional information and the resources to take advantage of the FTA and grow their businesses."
The forum will feature experts from the federal, state and local governments as well as the Korean government who will provide helpful information such as:
Â· Finding new markets and customers
Â· Accessing vital working capital
Â· Extending credit to your buyers
Â· Obtaining protection against the risk of nonpayment
Â· Understanding how to use government resources
